The Wisconsin Pastel Artists is a dynamic group of almost 70 artists working in the pastel medium. Our members come from all over the state, and from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience.
You don't have to be a professional artist to join. We always look forward to seeing new faces and talent !
Opportunities - We offer great opportunities throughout the year to participate in plein air experiences, attend workshops and share in the activities of other artists' groups.
Education - Continuing education and constantly challenging ourselves as artists is a top priority for WPA. We arrange for stimulating workshops and lectures at Members' meetings, and host fun painting get-togethers throughout the year.

The goals of the Wisconsin Pastel Artists (WPA) are to:
- promote appreciation of the unique qualities of pastel as a medium;
- to encourage and develop fellow artists both artistically and professionally through workshops, exhibitions, meetings, and critiques;
- promote public awareness of pastels;
- and especially encourage fun and creativity among our members as we explore the unique possibilities of using pastels.
