Judge's Comments: I was lost in the joyous richness of colors and texture of this work. The light and shadows dance with sparkling colors giving importance to the driveway and the grasses and trees, causing all to be considered as equally beautiful in this natural place. It is a place that is familiar, but has yet to be fully discovered. It reminded me of the places I visited as a child in Northern Wisconsin.
